Save yourself some time and pick up potsticker wrappers. They cost about $3 for 50 or more. A pound of turkey will cost around $5-6 and a head of cabbage around $1. That rounds the cost of this recipe to around $10 max. The potstickers can be pre-made and in mass quantities and frozen to be cooked at a later time.
Here is what you will need:
25 potsticker wrappers
1 lb ground turkey or pork.
1 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
1 tablespoon soy sauce
3 cups shredded cabbage or 2 cups cabbage and one diced medium onion
1 egg or water
Using a basting brush, or your fingers, brush the egg, or water, over half the potsticker wrapper. Place a spoonful of meat mixture onto the egg coated side of the wrapper. Leave enough space around the edges to fold and seal. DO NOT Overstuff. Doing so will cause a real mess when you boil them and they break apart.
